Post-election grief? Here’s how some people are coping with it

The 2022 National and Local Elections made everyone go through a whole barrage of emotions like no other. Seeing the results of the elections was like a roller coaster ride that drove the entire Internet into an uncontrollable frenzy.

And of course, just as what Filipinos online are used to, what better way to cope with this series of (unfortunate) events than with memes? Filipinos are known to have a unique way of coping with current affairs and are highly proficient in the art of making a meme out of anything and everything, including the post-election mood. With the events of the past few days, memes have been popping out left and right on every corner of the Internet.

A Facebook group, Twitter Spaces, and a whole lot more have made people laugh and cry at the same time as they’re trying to accept the turnout of events post-election. Even more so after a Facebook live that spawned a whole lot more memes.

Kaya pa ba, mga Pinoys? Because same. Pand-dogshow na lang ang kaya kong gawin now.
