The Disney Channel alum and ‘Nonsense’ singer Sabrina Annlynn Carpenter celebrated her 25th birthday and blew out a Leonardo DiCaprio meme-inspired cake.
Carpenter’s special day was celebrated by her close friends, family, and relatives. Barry Keoghan, the singer’s boyfriend, arranged the party to be at DUMBO House in Brooklyn. The venue was said to be decorated with blue, yellow, and white balloons.
The number of guests was capped at 100; guests included 24-year-old American rapper Ice Spice. Carpenter and Keoghan shared an intimate kiss before she blew the candles. On Ice Spice’s Instagram, she shared with her followers a video of Carpenter blowing out her birthday cake which had DiCaprio’s photo on the center of it.
Many followers were fast to reference the actor’s selfie which was edited to look like a Snapchat message and captioned “Nooo don’t turn 25 [you’re] so sexy aha.” The meme was in line with the rumors that DiCaprio does not date women over 25 years of age.
They dined on a variety of delicacies and enjoyed a custom drink menu which highlighted espresso martinis. It’s most likely to honor the birthday girl’s new single “Espresso” which is at No. 2 on the Billboard Global 200 chart in the present.
Carpenter took to Instagram and uploaded some of her photos throughout childhood. She received birthday messages from stars. Her boyfriend also left a “🥹” emoji and an “x,” which means a kiss.
A former costar from Boy Meets World, Danielle Fishel, wrote “Happy birthday to my forever bb girl!! I love you more than you’ll ever know. ❤️❤️ See you soooooon!!”
The lyrics of her new hit ‘Espresso’ have been very useful to caption the celebrant’s posts. She shared another cake on Instagram and wrote: “Is 24 that sweet? I guess so!” which was actually a line from her song “Is it that sweet? I guess so!”
Sarah, Carpenter’s sister, commented “ur partying late cuz it’s ur BIRTHDAY” which was a play-off from the lyrics “I’m working late ‘cause I’m a singer.”
The singer’s 25th birthday was the first time that she and her boyfriend celebrated it together ever since they publicized their relationship this year.
