Legendary OPM rock band Eraserheads and P-pop kings SB19 are set to hold their concerts on the same date this year.
Eraserheads announced their upcoming concert through the end-credit scene of their documentary “Combo on the Run.”
On May 31, 2025, the outdoor event, aptly named ERASERHEADS: ELECTRIC FUN MUSIC FESTIVAL, will take place at the SMDC Festival Grounds in Pasay City. Although details about the seating plan and ticket prices are still being kept under wraps, early bird tickets will only be available through PalawanPay beginning on March 29, 2025.

The groundbreaking rock group Eraserheads, which was formed by Ely Buendia, Raimund Marasigan, Buddy, and Marcus, was instrumental in the resurgence of Pinoy Rock in the 1990s. Their numerous hits include “Ang Huling El Bimbo,” “With A Smile,” and “Ligaya.”
Before reuniting in 2022 for the “Huling El Bimbo” show, which they toured across the United States, Canada, the Middle East, and Australia, they famously disbanded in 2002 and had two major reunions in the years that followed.
Meanwhile, P-pop powerhouse SB19 will be holding their concert on the same date as Eraserheads with their “Simula at Waka World Tour” kickoff at the Philippine Arena in Bulacan.
SB19 continues to demonstrate their dominance in the P-pop industry by selling out their eagerly awaited kickoff show in less than seven hours, with over 100,000 fans lining up online.

The quick sellout of the show comes after the group’s most recent and surprising track, “DAM,” which has been making waves on the international charts.
After their kickoff, SB19 will proceed with their tour around North America, Asia, and the Middle East.
As part of their promotional run for their next EP, “Simula at Wakas,” which is scheduled to be released this April, the group made the big announcement on Instagram, disclosing the tour dates and cities.
