Ezra Miller, a star in the upcoming DC film The Flash, was arrested once again in Hawaii, just weeks after their first arrest.
Hawaii police department arrested Miller in a traffic stop early Tuesday morning, April 19, 2022, due to a second-degree assault at a private residence in the district of Puna, near the town of Pāhoa.
Miller (who uses they/them pronouns) became enraged and violent when they were asked to leave the place. They allegedly threw a chair and unfortunately hit a 26-year-old woman in the forehead. The woman refused to get treatment.
Miller was then released the same day, pending further investigation.

With everything that’s been going on with The Flash star, it is impossible not to compare Miller’s situation with their Fantastic Beasts co-star, Johnny Depp.
Johnny Depp faced an alleged domestic abuse case against his ex-wife, Amber Heard. Unfortunately, he lost the case and was requested by Warner Bros to resign from his role as Gellert Grindelwald in the Fantastic Beasts series. This incident made the fans sad and angry and called for #JusticeforJohnnyDepp. Currently, the appeal of Depp against Heard is still ongoing.
With this, some fans are wondering why is Miller still part of the cast. How come Miller got to keep their role in the Fantastic Beasts series when they’ve had a history of allegedly assaulting a woman back in 2020, years prior to their recent arrests in Hawaii.

Some fans find it unfair that Miller still has a role despite their numerous arrests. However, there’s a possibility that this will not be the case for long, as some articles say that Miller’s career is in danger due to their actions. Warner Bros and DC executives held an emergency meeting last March 30, 2022, where they have agreed to suspend and decline any future projects that involve Miller.
This incident marks Miller’s second arrest in Hawaii. The first one was for disorderly conduct and assault, and the actor was asked to pay a fine of $500.
Miller’s team has yet to say anything regarding the recent arrest.
