Even six years after their K-drama’s peak popularity, the infamous ‘Crash Landing on You’ couple continues to captivate fans with their irresistible “kilig” (heart-swooning) factor.
Actress Son Ye-jin, along with her husband and Crash Landing on You co-star Hyun Bin, left fans with a warm memory of what seemed like a casual park date in an Instagram post. However, some of her followers spotted an amusing detail in her series of photos.
In a not-so-discreet manner, the actress placed “stickers” in an attempt to cover her husband’s face, prompting social media users to quickly and playfully point out the obvious culprit behind her sunny day companion.
While many users shared positive and quirky banters sharing that this was Hyun Bin’s “non-showbiz husband era” and related that the confidentiality was likely due to remaining his anonymity as the North-Korean soldier he played in their hit-show, some pointed out that Ye-jin’s intention was likely inclined to follow her agency’s protocols in publishing certain materials of her private life online.
Despite being married after tying the knot in 2022 and welcoming their first child in the same year, Ye-jin’s sticker editing on Hyun Bin’s face had been actively used in her other posts as well, likely to grant her husband some privacy from the public eye, which social media users have praised.

Both of the seasoned talents had been in several projects together since 2011, but officially met in 2014 at the Bucheon International Film Festival (PiFan). From 2017 to 2019 the pair had their first few dating rumours surfacing after being spotted traveling in Los Angeles together, which they initially denied claiming it was all coincidence.
It wasn’t until 2019 that Ye-jin and Hyun Bin were finally cast as the leading couple for their biggest show yet, “Crash Landing On You,” and by 2021, Dispatch released that the two had been going strong for 8 months. Their agencies, Vast Entertainment and MS Team Entertainment, confirmed the news, and they later eloped in 2022 and now are a family of 3.
As the two made it known to their supporters of the future they would be spending together, they gave a glimpse of their love and hope for a fruitful journey in life as a couple. Hyun Bin wrote on his personal page to fans back in 2022, “I made an important decision to get married and carefully step into the second chapter of my life.”
Ye-jin, in her own statement, shared, “He’s a very warm and reliable person to be around,” closing, “We have become each other’s destiny.”
