Life may be rough but at least you’re not the guy who caused traffic in the Suez Canal.
A massive 1,300-foot-long container ship has been lodged sideways in Egypt’s Suez Canal. The blockage has caused a major headache for global trade as the waterway is a popular route for the maritime industry. It was reported that a dust storm brought low visibility and heavy winds that caused the ship to run aground.
Traffic is being redirected in the meantime while dozens of smaller ships are stranded on both sides of the vessel.
Although the ship has blocked out the Suez Canal, it brought in a flood of internet memes.
