The influencer who received DMs from GOT7’s Jay B says that she had no intention for it to turn viral

Following the backlash received by the viral screenshots of a conversation between GOT7’s Jay B and a fashion model and influencer on Instagram, the influencer has spoken up about it.

Prior to the influencer’s statement, fans of GOT7’s Jay B were all up on arms for the idol. Some initially said that the viral screenshots were fake, while other fans criticized the reactions of Korean netizens following the screenshots, believing that there was nothing out of the usual from the conversation.

Later on, the Korean influencer shared an Instagram story and addressed the issue.

In her statement, she explained that Jay B had messaged her first and that she had only posted the Instagram story to her close friends. This would then mean that the viral screenshots were taken by one of the people in her close friends list.

Korean netizens and fans alike were intrigued about the whole thing, completely overshadowing the famous idol’s involvement.

Regardless of whether or not it was fake or not, it’s time to review our own close friends’ lists to prevent this kind of issue from happening, huh.
