Chris Brown loses it over losing Grammy award to ‘someone he doesn’t know’

The recently concluded 65th Grammy Awards had been a roller coaster ride for music artists and fans, due to the many unexpected (and surprising) wins and losses in different categories. Chris Brown was one of the artists who got surprised with the result of the awards category he was nominated in. And what do you know–he threw a digital tantrum after learning of the news.

The R&B ‘king’ had been nominated for the “Best R&B Album” category in the Grammy Awards, against Mary J. Blige for Good Morning Gorgeous (Deluxe), Robert Glasper for Black Radio III, Lucky Daye for Candydrip, and PJ Morton for Watch the Sun.

Chris Brown threw a fit on social media after the award had been handed over to Robert Glasper and his album Black Radio III.

Robert Glasper, by the way, is an American pianist, record producer, songwriter, and musical arranger. He has 5 Grammy awards under his belt and has been nominated 11 times in 8 different categories–which means this award wasn’t implausible for him (for comparison, Chris Brown has had 20 nominations and 1 win).

Of course, Twitter had a field day clowning the “With You” singer over his “meltdown.”

Perhaps Chris Brown can try again at next year’s Grammy Awards? But for now, congratulations to Robert Glasper and to all of the deserving winners of the Grammys!
