In its 17th year, Engineering Congress extends its legacy on delivering knowledge in the field of engineering as it invites once again delegates all over the country.
Engineering Congress is an annual nationwide engineering event that features Engineering Seminar and Executives’ Challenge. Prepared by one of the renowned student organizations of the Philippines, Civil engineering Executive Organization (CEO), the Congress will be presented via Facebook Live on February 12, 2022. Engineering Congress 2022 focuses on the theme, “Forging Alternatives: Breakthroughs of Sustainable Engineering amidst Contemporary Socio-economic Challenges”, to tackle the developments in sustainable engineering and its impact on society.
Engineering Seminar is an annual national forum that explores several topics in engineering discussed by accomplished speakers from recognized companies and organizations. Interested engineering students and professionals can take part in the conference by accomplishing the registration with a minimal fee of 30 pesos.
Following its successful first year, the Executive’s Challenge: CAD Edition will continue to examine the skills of students with their engineering knowledge. Participating teams from different universities and colleges have a goal to produce their structural model to enhance engineering innovations that promote sustainability and harbor protection of the environment. Great rewards are waiting as PHP 25,000 will be given to the champion, PHP 10,000 for the 1st-runner up, and PHP 5,000 for the 2nd-runner up. The top 10 teams will be awarded E-certificates and have their project proposals posted on the official Facebook page of the Engineering Congress during the event day.
In collaboration with the LIFE Project, proceeds of the event will be allocated to the annual outreach program. The LIFE Project, also known as Livelihood Initiative for Everyone Project, aims to promote sustainability and income generation to the beneficiaries. The program will offer opportunities to people within the community that will help them acquire a stable livelihood.
