‘Spider-Man: No Way Home’ teaser trailer released following TikTok leak

Spider-Man: No Way Home is set for release on December 17 and Marvel and Sony have been pretty tight lipped (not counting that short video where they dropped the official title for the film). Well, that was the case until recently — someone managed to find a new, unreleased trailer for the upcoming film and leak it to the public. Better check your Spidey senses, Marvel.

The trailer for the film was apparently leaked on TikTok, and the film started trending on Twitter after some users started sharing the leaked trailer on the platform. Others were buzzing about the consequences the leaker might face because Sony and Marvel definitely wouldn’t be happy about that.

Sony has already started cracking down on any social media posts sharing the video. Some tweets sharing the leaked trailer have already been taken down, citing copyright issues.

While some people may have missed out on catching a sneak peek during the initial leak, this luckily led Sony to release the official teaser trailer the following day as part of damage control. Not all heroes wear capes.

A lot of people have been very excited for Spider-Man: No Way Home, especially after rumors emerged about Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield reprising their respective Spidey roles. Tom Holland has denied these rumors, though.

Alfred Molina coming back to the MCU as Doc Ock isn’t really new info since this was confirmed in December of last year. But the only thing that was confirmed was that Molina will return as Doc Ock — an obvious indication that there will be a crossover between past renditions of Spider-Man due to the multiverse created by Doctor Strange.

The trailer gives us a good idea of the movie’s premise and how the multiverse was unleashed. A big highlight was seeing the villains make an appearance with a shot of Alfred Molina back in his Doc Ock costume, and a quick sound bite of Willem Dafoe as the Green Goblin.

Let this be clear that this is only the teaser trailer, so who knows what other surprises await for fans when the final trailer of Spider-Man: No Way Home comes out.
