Underrated OPM songs that you might want to add to your playlist

Music can free our mind and sometimes gives us a little break from the noxious experiences we encounter every day. Music lovers out there would surely agree that nothing can beat music. It feeds our soul, affects our mood and most of all, fuels our mind.

And when we get stuck in this horrendous Manila traffic, music becomes our companion. We open our playlist and plays it along the road. We imagine things as we listen to it; we low-key sing like the world is ours; and we feel like the lyrics to these songs were written just for us.

We listed down some of the most underrated OPM songs that will give you eargasms and might urge you to add to your playlist since OPM is still alive and kicking.

Let’s support local music!

1. “Buwan” by Juan Karlos

3. “Takipsilim” by Autotelic

4. “Sana” by I Belong To The Zoo

5. “Kahit Ayaw Mo Na” by This Band

“O, bakit ba kailangan pang umalis? Pakiusap lang na ‘wag ka nang lumihis. Tayo’y mag-usap, teka lang, ika’y huminto, wag mo ‘kong iwan, aayusin natin ‘to.”

6. “Sino” by Unique

“Sino ang pinagmulan ng iyong pag-ngiti. Sino ang nagnakaw ng iyong sandali.”

7. “Martyr” by CHNDTR

Feels right? Nothing’s wrong with the one-sided love but make sure to love yourself more than anyone else.
