Meet Ella Gross, a model and actress who has become an internet sensation for her Barbie-like features.
Ella is an 8 year-old girl from Los Angeles, California of half-Korean and half-American descent. Her mom, Wynne Gross, described her as a “…kind-hearted, goofy, humble and sweet kid who loves to read Harry Potter, make up songs, dance with her friends, and act so she can play different characters.”
Her modelling career started when she was featured in a cover of a magazine at age 2. She had to stop modelling for a while when she went to kindergarten, but went back to it when she entered first grade. Her mom said that what her daughter enjoys about modelling is the opportunity to meet other people and make great friends with other kids and even with adults.
At a young age, Ella works hard at everything she does, whether it is for school, dance classes, guitar lessons, modelling jobs or acting. She looks up to Emma Watson and also wants to be an actress someday.

Because of her beauty, people have compared her to other actresses such as Song Hye Kyo, Jun Ji Hyun, and Liza Soberano.
Others suggested that she has “k-pop star potential.”
Though, there are people who think hapa kids’ parents are making a living out of them, Ella’s mom leaves this message for them:
Ella’s Dad and I met in law school over 10 years ago. We fell in love and got married. We are both attorneys. All we want, just as any other parents do, is to support our children’s dreams. Ella’s passion for acting is not typical. She is very hard working, dedicated to EVERYTHING she does. Even reading Harry Potter. So much that she has read over 150 pages of the third series in one day. Our only goal is to support our daughter no matter what she does. It happens to be acting, so that is what we are doing.
With her talent, beauty, dedication, and supportive ‘rents, we believe Ella will be able to achieve her dreams.
