This March 2024, the most anticipated Engineering Congress returns all face-to-face for its 19th installment, inviting representatives from various engineering fields from all parts of the country once again.
Engineering Congress is a two-day annual national engineering event showcasing both the Engineering Seminar and the Executives’ Challenge, hosted by the duly recognized academic organization, Civil engineering Executive Organization (CEO) from the University of the Philippines – Los Baños.
After three years of being constrained virtually due to the pandemic, the Engineering Seminar will be held in person on March 23, 2024. This year’s seminar focuses on the realm of innovative hydrological engineering with the theme, “Flowing Forward: Forging a Path towards an Integrated Sanitary and Water Resources Management through Regenerative Hydrological Engineering Strategies.” This seminar addresses one of the most significant issues of our time, showcasing sustainability and the role of engineers in accomplishing this goal. Highly renowned specialists and delegates from notable companies are also invited to provide insights and address the fundamental issues of the world regarding freshwater reserves and safety.
On the other hand, Executives’ Challenge XIX: A National Intercollegiate Engineering Science Quiz Contest serves as a platform to promote academic excellence among the brightest students from various colleges and universities. With over 60 participating teams, participants will demonstrate their intellect in the field of engineering, striving to claim the top title of Engineering Congress 2024 Grand Champion.
Prizes of PHP 50,000 await future engineers who show their knowledge of the foundation of engineering. Furthermore, the first and second-runner ups will receive PHP 20,000 and PHP 10,000, respectively. All the teams that will advance to the final round will also receive Certificates of Recognition.
