BLACKPINK’s Rosé is making things clear about her relationship with Jaden Smith in a new interview with Vanity Fair.
For the publication’s web series, she first took a lie detector test to answer whether her song “Toxic Till the End” is about Smith, with whom she has been seen hanging out in the past.

“No, it’s not about Jaden Smith,” the K-pop idol explained, with her passing the lie detector test with flying colors. “He’s a good friend, though.”

When asked directly if she and Smith had ever dated, the musician simply said, “No.” The test administrator swiftly verified that she was telling the truth, and Rosé nodded and chuckled.
The well-known singer has never revealed the identities of the people she has dated in the past while being open about the difficulties of toxic relationships.
“I would actually look at it and be like, ‘Oh my god, this was when I was going through the worst time of my life,’” she discussed the creative inspirations behind her album “Rosie” with Zane Lowe on Apple Music Radio.
“I remember that tour, I had the biggest fight…you know..with the ex. I look so good considering how heartbroken I was,” she added.
The song, which is from Rosé’s December debut album, “Rosie,” features the singer talking about a controlling ex who was “jealous and possessive.” Since then, fans have been eager to find out who her ex-boyfriend is. Reaching No. 90 on the chart, “Toxic Till the End” became Rosé’s third entry into the Billboard Hot 100 in December.
