Edilbert Estanislao, famously known as “Typical Pinoy Crap (TPC),” hits back at a Facebook user who made a serious threat against him.
In a Facebook post, the content creator wrote “Pag may nangyari saking masama, pakihanap na lang si kuya Mark [If something bad happens to me, please look for brother Mark].”
“Nag-aral ng criminology pero pag gawa ng krimen nasa utak. Kaya kayo pinagtatawanan sa internet, e [Studied criminology but committing crime is in his brain. That’s why you’re being laughed at on the internet],” he added with a laughing emoji.
TPC then followed up with an update in the comments, stating that the Facebook user who threatened him had apologized, explaining that he was overwhelmed by his emotions.
The content creator mentioned that he got scared with the said threat and wrote, “Nakakatakot yung ganitong biro lalo sa klima ng bansa natin sa ganitong bagay [This kind of joke is scary especially to the climate of our country in this matter].”
Social media users took to the comments to express their disappointment in the said situation.
One user wrote, “College pa lang ganun na ang pag iisip. Paano na pag may license na [He’s still in college and he’s already thinking like that. How would it be if he already has a license]?”
Another user wrote, “Hindi na dapat pinapatapos yan. Hanggat maaga tanggalan na ng karapatan makatungtong sa ganyang antas. Mas matindi pa magagawa nyan pagnakatapos yan [He should never let be finished. As early as now, the right to reach that level should be taken away. He can do something more severe if he gets to finish].”
A third user wrote, “I personally know plenty of people, especially those planning to pursue criminology, who have low self-esteem, make grave threats toward others, and display awful character and attitude. This must not be overlooked or ignored, as they could pose a serious danger to the future state. This is also the reason why I don’t have much respect for the latter. This serves him right!”
Despite the frustrations of some people online on the unfortunate scenario, several social media users reminded everyone to stop hating on criminology students.
On April 1, TPC uploaded a YouTube video where he shared that he had already gone to the police station to file a case against the user who made a death threat.
