American singer-songwriter Chappell Roan called out yet another “rude” photographer on the red-carpet event of Netflix’s Olivia Rodrigo: Guts World Tour concert film on October 25, 2024.
The rudeness in question, however, did not occur at the said event. Instead, it looks like the musician remembered the photographer from the 66th Annual Grammy Awards on February 4 earlier this year.
“You were so rude to me. I deserve an apology for that. Yeah. Yep, you do. No, no, no. You need to apologize,” she told the photographer.
One of her representatives can then be seen pulling her aside to continue her walk down the carpet.
It is to be remembered that this is not the first time that the singer called out foul behavior on the red carpet.
The hitmaker made waves at the 2024 Video Music Awards last month after telling off a photographer from the photo pit of the event.
Roan shared her experience in an interview with Entertainment Tonight shortly after.
“It’s just quite overwhelming and quite scary […] I think for someone who gets a lot of anxiety around people yelling at you, the carpet is horrifying. And I yelled back. I yelled back. You don’t get to yell at me like that,” the singer said.

Social media users from X (formerly known as Twitter) had mixed reactions to Roan’s recent interaction with the red-carpet photographer.
“Hate to say it, but she’s not gonna make it very long as a top name in the industry,” One social media user said in a tweet with the video of the incident.

Fans also came into her defense, saying that the singer is doing a good job of encouraging women to stand their ground.
“in a society where we’re taught to “just take it” when we’re harassed, hurt, and humiliated, Chappell Roan is actually doing such a phenomenal job of encouraging women to stand their ground and have these men take responsibility for their actions. She’s so f****** cool,” an X user said.
Another social media user said, “And mind you, she’s speaking for EVERY celebrity who constantly gets disrespected by paparazzi as we’ve seen over the years. It’s time someone call[ed] them out on their bs.”
