Singer-rapper BINI Aiah broke her silence after fans had loudly commented on their speculations that the performer may be dating “Rain or Shine” basketball forward Caelan Tiongson.
It all went down with her attendance in the semifinals of the PBA Commissioner’s Cup last March 5. This was reported to be her second appearance in the player’s game, fueling the rumors of their link. Caelan was also spotted watching the girl group’s “BINIverse” concert last February 15 at the Philippine Arena.
Aiah made it known to her supporters that she was well aware of the sentiments circulating and took to X (formerly Twitter) with a lengthy statement, encouraging readers to spread kindness amid the negativity posted on her and Tiongson’s social media accounts, where users have even gone so far as to involve his family in the ongoing issue.
Hey hey hey, everybody! First of all, breathe. Inhale the good, exhale the bad. 😌🧘♀️🧘
I am aware of what has been happening lately, and honestly, it’s interesting to see how it has become such a big deal for some, along with the multiple theories circulating about it. It’s also… pic.twitter.com/DoHpVfmD1P

Following this, Aiah added a post on Instagram where she is seen with Tiongson and other friends playing a game of cards.
Many fans commented on the statement and post, seemingly focused on whether the singer would confirm or deny the news, but noted that it was “vague” with some even pointing out that she didn’t deny the allegations with the basketball player. Though in light of this, it is notable that other supporters believe otherwise in the need to find out what the real score between them is, and urge the public on social media to be more respectful of the singer’s private life, as well as Tiongson, as he too shared his own statement on his Instagram story.
In an interview last March 2, the player did not go into detail when asked about the real score between him and the performer, simply stating that she is “a great person” and he considers himself a fan of the P-pop girl group, reasoning out why he had gone to the aforementioned concert. The two have evidently been wary with their comments with the media when asked about one another but have been vocal about being friends thanks to their other mutuals in the Christian community, Favor Church, where they both attend.
