Korean singer Isaac Hong, a finalist (4th place) on the music competition show Super Band 1, is making a comeback with a new English album. Today, April 26th, Isaac has released his new EP titled “everland” and begins his full-scale activities. He participated in writing, composing, and arranging all the tracks on the album, and collaborated with talented jazz pianist and composer Soo young Chin to create a polished work.
The album captures the precious moments of the two musicians’ shared journey and is expected to resonate deeply with the audience. It includes four new tracks, including the double title tracks “her” and “everland,” as well as “pages” and “a bird.” Additionally, the album also features “(n)everland,” a pre-released track, and “her (director’s cut),” for a total of six tracks.]
The title track “her” was inspired by the movie “Her” and features dreamy synthesizer beats and a warm atmosphere. The other title track, “everland,” is a diary-like song about a boy who wants to find love and happiness but struggles to do so. “(n)everland,” the Korean version of the song, depicts the boy’s struggles and conflicts between reality and his dreams.
Isaac and Soo young have already gained attention for their attractive and charming appearance and chemistry in various content they have released together. As rising musicians in the Korean music industry, much attention is focused on their musical synergy and freedom expressed in their new songs.
