A cameraman was spotted in the second season of Squid Game by eagle-eyed audience members in a filming blunder for the Korean original series.
The latest season focuses on the last season’s winner, Seong Gi-hun (played by Lee Jung-jae) returning to the mysterious game, hoping to confront the Front Man and put an end to the killing of participants once and for all.
A user on X (formerly Twitter) shared a clip from episode 7 of the highly anticipated season pointing out a visible cameraman in the background during an intense scene.
Social media users were quick to jump in the conversation and shared their thoughts on social media about the unexpected cameo.

The moment has since become a trending topic, with fans turning the blooper into a source of amusement rather than a critique.
Filming mishaps are not new in popular TV shows, with the most famous example being the coffee cup in Game of Thrones season 8, episode 4.
The second season of Squid Game, released on December 26 last year, has been reaching audiences worldwide. Regardless of the enormous expectations set by the success of the first season, the latest installment has managed to break new records.
Within the series’ debut week, it has gained a whopping 68 million views, surpassing the previous record of 50.1 million set by “Wednesday.” This is the first series on the streaming site to reach number one in 92 regions upon its release.
With its impressive performance, Squid Game has propelled season 2 into the ranks of the most popular non-English on the streaming platform.
The third season is set to conclude the Squid Game saga, with it being confirmed as the final installment set for release this year. Creator Hwang Dong-hyuk has promised a climactic showdown between Gi-hun and the enigmatic Front Man.
The post credit scene of the second season gave a glimpse of a chilling twist with a revamped version of “Red Light, Green Light” featuring a boy statue alongside Young-hee from the first season.
