During his recent trip to China for a viral streaming event, YouTuber Darren ‘IShowSpeed’ visited Chongqing, a city renowned for its unique topography and cyberpunk aesthetics.
Like his previous trips, IShowSpeed was surrounded by a crowd of supporters at nearly every stop, while also immersing himself in the city’s customs, food, and local culture.
Speed met some internet celebrities, performed a backflip over a bridge, rode the self-driving metro train in Chongqing, and interacted with some enthusiastic fans.
During the stream, he unexpectedly ran into Tony, a representative from LC SIGN. Tony Zhu, known as “Tony from LC Sign,” has gained significant fame through his engaging and humorous approach to marketing for LC Sign, a Guangzhou-based company specializing in illuminated signage.
Fans urged him to stream with Tony while in China after his videos promoting LC SIGN in various accents went viral.
“Tony, what do you got for me, Tony? Everybody been telling me to meet you,” he stated.
Tony arrived with gifts, presenting Speed with several LED signs featuring themes related to the streamer’s interests, including Cristiano Ronaldo.
Social media users quickly took to the comments to share their thoughts on the surprising interaction.
One user wrote, “Happy to see Tony getting more recognition and love.”
Another user wrote, “Wow this is so good to see. Let’s keep spreading love!”
“Yussss the duo we always never knew we needed,” a third user wrote.

Another standout element of the Chongqing stream was the use of live drone footage to showcase the city’s vast scale and unique features. The streamer took advantage of this aerial perspective to highlight the beauty of the city.
One particularly memorable moment occurred when Darren performed a backflip on a bridge connecting two high-rise buildings. Slipz, Speed’s long-time cameraman, switched to the drone shot just as the streamer leaped, offering a stunning view of how high they were.
With this technology, IShowSpeed also treated his audience to breathtaking overhead views of the city’s vibrant nightlife.
