Twitter’s thoughts on ‘The Last of Us: Part 1’ for the PS5

We can now relive the story of Joel and Ellie in a zombified post-apocalyptic world with The Last of Us Part 1, another remake of the 2013 masterpiece The Last of Us. Originally released on the PS3, developer Naughty Dog had already released a remake for the game on the PS4 called The Last of Us Remastered. They had somehow released a third remake for the same game with The Last of Us Part 1, and people are a little bit divided about it on social media.

The Last of Us is such a classic that is still remembered and celebrated today, so it makes sense for Naughty Dog to give the game much better visuals with the power of the PS5. Some people on Twitter love it; others kind of hate it, so let’s take a look at what they have to say.

Unsurprisingly, many people on Twitter plainly adore the new visuals of The Last of Us Part 1 and are posting many comparison photos and videos to prove its graphical improvements.

User @MajorDcps shares a comparison photo of Sarah and Joel in the PS4 and PS5 remakes of The Last of Us, which got around 14k likes.

User @TheAgentOfDoom calls the remake “impressive.”

Here’s another comparison photo tweeted by @NaughtyNDC.

User @andrearene praises the remake saying that it is “the definitive way to play.”

While many people are praising the game, others are finding things they don’t like about it.

User @TheSphereHunter finds that the remake was not worth it, since there were only a few changes with a high price tag.

User @SuperButterBuns just does not care for remakes, which is understandable.

The Last of Us Part 1 isn’t even a remake apparently, as said by @MrRiceGuy2.

Whether you like the remake or not, The Last of Us Part 1 is here to stay for the PS5. Time will tell if PC users will get to experience it, too!
