5 ‘Study with Me’ YouTube channels for working or studying

Doing homework, studying for an exam, or working from home can feel a little lonely now that we’re in a pandemic. It’s also not every day that we get to talk to our friends and classmates because everyone lives a busy life of their own.

Thankfully, ‘Study with Me’ channels on YouTube have existed since 2017 and have grown through the years, helping those who need some company to feel less alone while doing homework.

Here’s a list of 5 ‘Study with Me’ channels that could help you focus on getting some work done:

Merve

If you’re easily distracted by background music and find peace in silence and the soft sound of rain, Merve is the perfect study buddy for you.

Aside from the comfy-looking and visually pleasing room that they have, it’s really the 10-minute break that either gives a glimpse of the sublime view of gloomy Glasgow or a quick walk outside the park to cool off your mind after a study session which is entirely vital to feel relaxed while doing homework.

Abao in Tokyo

On the other hand, if you like listening to lo-fi beats and if silence is too much for you to handle, Abao in Tokyo will help you get over your procrastination.

The view from his window that shows the rainy evening vibes of Tokyo is enough to keep you occupied while you’re slowly making progress with your work.

Abao’s ‘Study with Me’ videos would also make you comfortable from the dim lighting –though not dim enough to make you feel drowsy, which is the last thing you want to feel when doing homework.

The Sherry Formula

This next channel is for my ‘cottagecore’ besties out there! The Sherry Formula might be the study companion that is destined to cater to your aesthetic needs.

Sherry’s videos will take you to a dream-like cottage where you could easily get your work done and, at the same time, feel relaxed enough to keep going even if it’s taking you too long to finish your essay.

Sheena시나

Have you ever crammed at 3 am? Might as well pull an all-nighter in that state. You don’t have to worry though, because Sheena시나’s videos will help you get through the night.

They also have ‘Study with Me’ ASMR videos that can bring out the tingles as you study till you see the sunrise. (Note: regular all-nighters are never recommended. Go get some sleep!)

Nessa Lui

Now that we’re in a pandemic and it’s kind of impossible for us to be studying in libraries, Nessa Lui has got the perfect content for you.

They mostly do their study sessions in the library – and yes, there are books everywhere – which I know most of us miss back when there were still in-person classes.
