KPop’s first (public) idol couple, *ahem* power couple HyunA and DAWN will be releasing a new song as a duo this September!
This was first announced by their label, P NATION, through a teaser image on their social media accounts, with the release date on September 9, 2021 at 6 P.M. KST.
HyunA also confirmed this news on her personal Instagram by writing about her experience filming the music video, along with a spoiler clip and a heartfelt message penned for her fans. In the post, she opened about how she had collapsed while filming the music video and had to be brought to the hospital. She also thanked the people around her for the support they always give her, and of course gave her love to her fans (A-ing).
While rumors of them debuting as a duo had already been circulating stan Twitter for a while now, this confirmation just made their fans thrilled and excited for their new music, especially because they’re the first couple to ever do so.

HyunA and DAWN have been in a relationship for 6 years, and publicly revealed their relationship back in 2018. Both were in CUBE Entertainment until the company decided to let them go. In the following year, HyunA and DAWN signed with PSY’s label, P NATION and went on to release new music under the label—with HyunA’s single “Flower Shower” and DAWN’s solo debut with “Money”.
HyunA then made her comeback earlier this year with the EP “I’m Not Cool”.
