Vin Diesel’s “Got Family” memes take over Twitter as fans celebrate F9

F9, the ninth installment in the Fast and Furious franchise, hit theaters in June and recently passed the $500 million mark at the box office worldwide. Fans of the franchise have decided to celebrate the blockbuster film by taking over Twitter with memes of Vin Diesel’s iconic quote from Furious 7, “I don’t have friends. I got family.”

The F9 memes usually involve inserting Vin Diesel into different franchises, like the Marvel Cinematic Universe, Harry Potter, Star Wars, and many others. Diesel arrives at the scene as backup — either wielding a shotgun or driving a car — and dishes out a motto about the power of family.

Here are some of the best F9 memes we’ve compiled:

F9 sheds light on the importance of family as Dom (Vin Diesel) and Mia Toretto’s (Jordana Brewster) estranged brother Jakob (John Cena) comes back to their lives after an accident.

F9 is not the last installment in the Fast and Furious franchise as it will be followed by a tenth installment. The series is set to conclude after the release of a tenth and eleventh installment, with Justin Lin as director and the cast reprising their roles for both.
