Bernie Sanders is once again the internet’s favorite meme

Amid a crowd of stylish government officials, U.S. senator Bernie Sanders stood out the most at Joe Biden’s inauguration.

A photo of Sanders wrapped up in a winter coat and mittens became an instant meme  looking like a dad who just went out to run errands. The said coat is the very same attire Sanders was wearing in his last viral meme. While his constituents were sporting designer outfits, the 79-year-old senator wore home-made wool mittens as his statement piece. The iconic mittens were gifted by Jen Ellis, a teacher from Vermont.

Internet users were inclined to take opportunity of this moment, and place Sanders in the most unusual places.
