MANILA, APRIL 2020 – With so many young individuals sharing content online, it can be difficult to set yourself apart from the rest. This has not been a problem for 20-year old Kimberley Dianne Vinson Ilag, thanks to one distinguishing characteristic that she proudly displays in her TikTok videos, her Batangueña accent.

Turn up the volume to hear Kimberly’s accent in this post while she waits for her cat to go home:

While she enjoys dubbing, Kimberly also posts a lot of original content, usually featuring her daily life in the province. Occasionally, followers will also see people from Kimberly’s life in these videos, including her mother, uncle, and grandfather. In fact, her most-viewed video is one that features her granddad.

The video, which has gathered 5.8M views as of April 2020, shows Kimberly asking her Lolo to choose between his granddaughter and his fighting cock.

Kimberly’s wholesome feed is a breath of fresh air in the TikTok universe. She believes in making and sharing content that not only makes viewers happy, but also brings joy to their creators.

Truly an inspiration to her fellow youth, Kimberly has proven that it is possible to touch the lives of others through the content that you post online. In one particular instance, she was able to help a fan that was battling depression.

With 1M followers and 5.5M likes on TikTok, the Multimedia Arts student says that, while she intends to continue creating content, her goal is really to finish her studies. When asked to share a short message with her followers, Kimberly laughs and says, “Maraming maraming salamat po sa pagsuporta sa akin at mabuhay po kayo hanggang sa gusto niyo!”
