A1 is the ‘same old brand new’ boy band we have always loved

After 15 long years, the four original members of the British-Norwegian boy band A1 reunited for their 20th Anniversary “Reunion” Tour in Manila.  Presented by Concert Republic, the group had their 2-day concert (October 21 and 22) at the New Frontier Theater and will be having their 3rd show on October 25 in Cebu.

The boy band, composed of members Ben Adams, Mark Read, Christian Ingebrigtsen, and Paul Marazzi started the show by serenading their Filipino fans with the following hit songs: “Forever In Love,” “Same Old Brand New You,” “Be the 1st/ Summertime,” and “One More Try”.

They even took us back to the 90s with “Ready or Not,” “Walking in the Rain,” and “Heaven By Your Side” — to which the fans couldn’t help but sing along.

And because A1 loves their fans so much, they performed their newest song, “Armour,” followed by “Everytime,” and “Caught in the Middle,” from the album “Here We Come”.

Before the concert ended, Ben Adams thanked their fans for all the love and support through the years, “There’s one person that we have forgotten to thank so far. It’s our fans because without you guys we would not be standing here on stage, so thank you so much for your love and support.”

It has been 20 years but A1 will always be the “same old brand new” boy band we have always loved.
