I The Mighty releases new video “Chaos In Motion”

‘WHERE THE MIND WANTS TO GO / WHERE YOU LET IT GO’ TO BE RELEASED 20th OCTOBER VIA RUDE RECORDS PRE-ORDER HERE: smarturl.it/ITMwherethemindIT   October 5th, 2017 – Singapore – San Francisco’s I the Mighty took a bold step forward in their creative journey today with the release of “Chaos In Motion”, the second single from their highly-anticipated new album ‘Where the Mind Wants to Go / Where You Let It Go’ due out October 20th via Rude Records worldwide (Equal Vision Records in North America). Already regarded as one of the most progressive voices in alternative rock, “Chaos in Motion”, which was produced by Casey Bates (Portugal. The Man) and mixed by Neal Avron (Twenty One Pilots, Walk The Moon) feels as though it has tapped into a bigger picture for the band. It still carries the brand of emotive, highly-energetic rock the band has built its fanbase on, but somehow captures something even more anthemic. The staccato keyboards, wall of guitars and arena-ready percussion set the stage for Brent Walsh to really show his ability to captivate in an intimately relatable fashion, while still rocking hard enough to live up to the band’s reputation as one of the most dynamic live bands in rock.

The video, which was directed by John Komar, tackles the topic of obsessive compulsiveness through a series of cringe-worthy activities that are massive OCD triggers in how “off” they are. A pencil moves at the last second as you’re tracing a stencil. Someone cuts a slice of pizza in the middle of the pie instead of from the crust. These are the sort of massively infuriating scenarios that are included in this video, forming a clever play on the song’s title.

Along with the release of “Chaos in Motion”, I the Mighty also unveiled the tracklisting from ‘Where the Mind Wants to Go / Where You Let It Go’, which you can find below. Fans can also pre-order the record by opening the following link: smarturl.it/ITMwherethemindIT
