BTS unveils new projects ahead of completing military service this year, set for release in April

K-pop boy band BTS recently announced plans to release two new projects for their fans.

On March 5, Big Hit Entertainment posted on X (formerly Twitter) that BTS would be releasing “BTS 7 Moments” and “Run BTS POLY HIGHLIGHT PACKAGE,” which are set to drop next month.

“BTS 7 Moments” will be available for pre-order on March 19, with it being released on April 2. “RUN BTS POLY HIGHLIGHT PACKAGE” will start its pre-order on April 8, and is set to be released on April 24.

The K-pop group’s journey over the past ten years is captured in the commemorative project “7 Moments.” This project will highlight seven events that have shaped the group’s career and will feature exclusive behind-the-scenes footage, commentary from the members, and more.

With a variety of games and challenges, the Run BTS Poly series has been a staple in the group content universe, giving fans an insight into the personality of the members.

Although specific details about the Poly series are still being kept under wraps, fans expect fresh episodes and interactive storytelling components.

Upon seeing the said announcement of the projects that they are releasing, fans took to social media to express their excitement.

The group announced in June 2022 that they would take a break from group activities in order to concentrate on their individual endeavors and their required military enlistment. All able-bodied male citizens in South Korea are required to serve in the military for 18 to 21 months before the age of 30.

Jin enlisted in the military in December 2022, J-hope in April 2023, and SUGA in September 2023, whereas RM, Taehyung, Jimin, and Jungkook enlisted in December 2023.
