Soloist Jeon Somi will make a summer comeback with her special single “Ice Cream” in August. The new song and music video will be released on August 2 at 1 p.m. KST. This comeback marks her return a year after her second album, Game Plan, with the title track “Fast Forward,” which was released in August last year.
Somi teased her fans by uploading the comeback teaser image and digital single cover of ‘Ice Cream’ on her X account (formerly Twitter).

The K-pop star’s fans were thrilled with the news, showing interest and support for the idol. Many commented that she looked like a Barbie with her blonde hair in the poster and that the pink theme of her comeback suited her perfectly.

But then fans rebutted and defended Somi, arguing that she is not at fault for the similarities. Moreovere, many are placing the blame on the company for a perceived lack of creativity.
