Pregnant trans man proudly poses for the cover of Glamour UK

“I am a transgender pregnant man and I do exist, so no matter what anybody says, I literally am living proof.”

Talk about representation: Glamour UK was graced by Logan Brown, who is proudly pregnant as a transgender man showing his baby bump for the digital June Pride cover.

Glamour UK is an online women’s magazine focused on beauty, style, and empowering content for women reshaping the world, published by Condé Nast.

Their Pride issue aims to “celebrate the allyship that exists between women (cisgender or not) and transgender people through our shared experiences – in particular pregnancy, healthcare, and childbirth – something that is not often talked about with regard to the transgender community.”

According to Glamour’s European editorial director, Deborah Joseph, they were blown away by Brown’s strength and courage, and knew he would be the perfect cover for the issue as a “shining example of empowerment, inclusivity, and equality,” Joseph said in a press release.

“Logan and his partner Bailey bringing their beautiful baby into the world is a story of love and acceptance; things that we are sadly often reminded that the world could use a little more of. We’re delighted to share these images and Logan’s words with the world today, and wish them the most happiness as a new family,” she added.

Brown shared his pregnancy journey on his blog Up The Duff Man, and has been discussing it on TikTok, where he received both positive and negative comments, but Brown just likes to focus on the positive.

“I realized there was more love than hate. Especially in the queer community, but also from cisgender straight people that were messaging me, going, “I never even thought about this.” It’s not my job to educate people, but because I’m so passionate about existing and trans people, I feel like I need to get my story out there. And it’s a positive story,” he said in the interview with Glamour UK.

Brown is currently in the process of writing a children’s book, My Daddy’s Belly, and an autobiography, to further share his story.
