iCarly trailer hints at a new beginning: Love triangle plot for iCarly reboot sparks excitement

If you know, you know, because it’s going to be inCREDDIEble!

The Nickelodeon classic, iCarly, is coming back for its third season and is hinting towards the end game of Carly and Freddie’s relationship.

The trailer shows Carly as she navigates her feelings for long-time friend Freddie, who is preparing to propose to his girlfriend, Pearl. The trailer ends with Carly confessing to Freddie that he is the only person she can always count on, while Freddie asks, “Is this really happening?,” to which Carly replies, “It took us long enough”, before wrapping her arms around Freddie’s neck.

Leading fans excited and speculating if ‘Creddie’ (ship name for Carly and Freddie) is finally becoming official.

The reboot of iCarly follows the story of Carly Shay, who is now an adult, almost a decade after the original run of the show in 2007-2012 – where she and her friend are now navigating the struggles of their adult lives.

Original cast members Miranda Cosgrove (Carly Shay), Nathan Kress (Freddie Benson), and Jerry Trainor (Spencer Shay), along with Laci Mosley (Harper Bettencourt) and Jaidyn Triplett (Millicent), will be back for the season – with original cast members Jeanette McCurdy (Sam Puckett) and Noah Munck (Gibby Gabson) not reprising their role for the reboot.
