Who would’ve known that the world will possibly have two Taylor Lautners, huh?
In November 2021, Twilight star Taylor Lautner popped the magical question to his long-time partner, Taylor Dome. Now, the 30-year-old actor has discussed his proposal to Dome, including how the two of them will share the same name.

In a recent interview with Kelly Clarkson, Lautner shared that he proposed to Dome in a kitchen, where he filled the room with flowers and a neon “Lautner” sign hanging on the wall.
“I love that you have the neon sign like, ‘Are you into this last name?’” Clarkson quipped.
The actor laughed and responded: “Cause we already share one name, so it’s going to be extra complicated […] We’re literally going to be the same person.”
Lautner also shared that he goes by Taylor while Dome goes by Tay to keep things easier and avoid confusion. “We either keep it super simple or super complicated,” he said.
As soon as people caught wind of possibly having two Taylor Lautners in town, Twitter went abuzz with some hilarious memes and reactions.

Lautner and Dome reportedly met in 2018. According to the Twilight star, the pair met through Lautner’s sister on one of their organized game nights, where the latter said she’d introduce Lautner to her “future wife.” Right off the bat, the two hit it off, and “the rest is history.”
