Nadine Lustre to make a comeback with new movie ‘Greed’

Nadine Lustre is all set to release her comeback movie, together with co-star Diego Loyzaga.

Yam Laranas, ‘Greed’ film director, released a sneak peek of the upcoming movie on his Instagram post last February 9.

The 45-second teaser opens with romantic scenes between the characters of Nadine and Diego. The couple can be seen marking their calendars and trying their luck in the lotto. It appears that the two eventually hit the jackpot as they are seen jumping out of happiness. However, the atmosphere got darker after the couple got into an argument. The ending scene shows Nadine, wearing bloody clothes, having a maniacal laugh after repeatedly hitting a person.

It did not reveal much about the plot, but the dark atmosphere and intense scenes that gave off a horror/thriller feel surely piqued the interest of the viewers.

Nadine Lustre Greed

‘Greed’ is the actress’ first film since she attempted to terminate her contract with her agency in 2020. The move sparked a legal dispute, which was already resolved late last year, with Nadine honoring her contractual obligations while still retaining her rights over her “branding and image” until her contract expires in 2029.

Nadine’s comeback movie ‘Greed’ is set to premiere this April.
