One year later, #AizzyForSectionF finally comes true

Remember that SHS student who emailed the entire DLSU student body? Well, she’s returned to Twitter limelight to say she’s finally back in Section F.

To be honest, this was an update none of use thought we’d get. I’ll get to why that is in a while, but here’s a short background:

On the first week of July last year, an SHS student named Aizzy from DLSU went viral for accidentally emailing the entire DLSU student community with a concern she intended to direct to the University Registrar. Aizzy expressed in the email that she wanted to be moved back to her old section (Section F).

The SHS student unintentionally used the email address that alerts the student body instead of the appropriate office, which brought in a lot of reactions from DLSU students. From there, the hashtag #AizzyForSectionF was born in an attempt to make light of this funny mistake.

The hashtag #AizzyForSectionF even reached Twitter’s top trending list at the time, in a record time of 40 minutes.

Take note, she was just a Grade 11 student then, so the attention brought by her small mistake probably left her overwhelmed. At the time, a friend of hers shared an update that Aizzy felt ashamed of the situation.

The hashtag also overtook a lot of other pressing issues during that time, with the #JunkTerrorBill being the most prominent one. With social media’s effect and impact to society, who would’ve thought that a simple SHS student’s mistake would surpass even the most urgent problems?

But okay, enough of 2020. Fast forward to June 16, 2021, Aizzy surfaced Twitter timelines once more with an update we didn’t know we needed. The SHS student posted a Tweet with the hashtag #AizzyForSectionF and a screenshot of her enrollment details— revealing that she finally got what she wanted.

Looks like the Grade 12 student is back at her old section F!

And just like the icon she is, the news garnered positive responses from the community as users celebrated along with her.

Congratulations to getting moved back to Section F, Aizzy! This was a big W for you!
