Ateneo Chemistry Olympiad 2021: Nation-building through Science

On April 24 and 30, 2021, the Ateneo Chemistry Society will continue to uphold academic excellence and foster healthy competition with the Ateneo Chemistry Olympiad 2021: Sa Hapag ng Mamamayan. The competition will comprise three main events: the Synchronous Written Examination, the Video Presentation Contests, and a series of webinars. This nationwide competition is open to Grade 9-12 students.

In its 10th year, the Ateneo Chemistry Olympiad is going online! The event aims to test the participants’ theoretical knowledge of chemistry as well as the ability to apply these concepts in ways which are easily digestible for the masses. The written exam will cover a vast range of chemistry topics. The video presentation will require participants to effectively communicate the scientific concepts behind a given prompt. Participants will attend a maximum of four electives to hone in on science as a component of nation-building. These electives will discuss chemistry in the field of medicine, climate change, etc.

Put your scientific knowledge to the test and face-off against students from all over the country on April 24 and 30 at the Ateneo Chemistry Olympiad 2021: Sa Hapag ng Mamamayan.
