Apparently, dentists can tell if you’ve given head, and no, this isn’t clickbait

You might want to reschedule that D appointment if you’re planning to have your teeth checked anytime soon.

Dentists on TikTok have revealed that they are able to spot whether a patient has had oral sex. The news made its rounds on the app after user Cian Mcbrien posted a video sharing the said fact. Resident tooth fairies and hygienists on the platform confirmed the claim and began to explain how exactly they can tell.

So a bruise on the soft palette is a sign that you’ve probably given a blowjob recently. Don’t worry though, because dentists won’t even mention it unless they’re concerned that you’re being sexually abused.

Some of them shared that they found it funny when they’d make small talk with their patients, asking them how their weekend went only to find some bruising on their mouth.

Dentist TikTok found a surge in popularity after user @dentite explained further that this specific bruising is called ‘palatal petechiae‘. His original video has garnered a whopping number of 34.4 million views as of writing.

While they won’t be able to tell if you gave head 3 years ago, they’ll probably know if you were up to something last night.
