Canadian Pop rock band Story Untold is Eager to announce their upcoming album ‘Waves’ that is likely to be released on February 2018 via Hopeless Records. The band also released the second single off the album “Drown In My Own Mind” using a music video, which you can watch here: smarturl.it/DrownInMyMindVideo.
Story Untold is a pop-rock band from Montreal, Canada. The group found its humble beginnings in the bedroom of vocalist Janick Thibault who started everything for Story Untold by laying the creative process for popular alternative songs released through Youtube. After having released several covers through the years, Janick reached out to friends Jessy Bergy, Max Cloutier, also Aiden Von Rose to form what fans now know as the album Story Untold.
On the new single and the album, vocalist Janick Thibault shares: ““Drown In My Mind” is the song that was the easiest to write for me. The past few years of my life have been hard for me on a personal level, and back when I fell on hard times, I wish I would’ve had a song like that to listen to, to tell me “it’s ok to feel like that”. Sonically, I think it sets the mood to the whole album. Our album called, ‘Waves’, is definitely more mature lyrically and musically than what we put out in the past. I think it’s the perfect balance between catchy fun pop punk songs and more mature heartfelt songs. We hope you guys are gonna dig the songs as much as we do!”
Since their beginnings, Story Untold has cultivated an impressive following of over 330,000 subscribers on YouTube, with over 30 million views including over 300,000 likes on Facebook and thousands more across other various social media platforms. They have since toured North America with Simple Plan, released their self-titled EP, and have been hard at work recording their upcoming full-length album.
The bands self-titled EP is available digitally on iTunes and Spotify.
