Here’s how you can wear surgical masks without fogging up your glasses

February 07th, 2020

These days have surely doubled the struggle of people who need to wear glasses and at the same time, surgical masks. Simply because, when we breathe out into whatever is covering our face, it easily fogs up our glasses.

In a now-viral post by Twitter user @Jinnyboy, which was reshared by Facebook user Lui Baarde, it appears that this frustrating situation continues to vex fellow online users—and at this point, we could really use some life hacks!

Omg. I’m not alone. The struggle is freakin real. May the fog be with you…🙌🏼 Got this from twitter: @jinnyboy

In an article published by Kotaku,  the Tokyo Metropolitan Police Department has blessed us with tricks (which we believe is a real game-changer, by the way) on how to prevent the glasses from fogging up. The first trick that you need to do is to fold the top fourth of the mask before wearing it. The second trick is to put a tissue at the top of the mask over the bridge of your nose.

Here’s to hoping that these tricks will somehow lessen our daily struggle, especially now that we have to take precautionary measures to protect ourselves from getting infected.
