90’s Rock Band AGAW AGIMAT Releases A New Music Video After 15 Years

After the launch of Agaw Agimat’s latest single “Antok” last November on Jam 88.3, the band is now gearing up to premiere a new music video after 15 long years. The new video is Agaw Agimat drummer and founder Renmin Nadela’s directorial debut. In 1994, Renmin graduated from Mowelfund’s “16mm Filmmaking” and “Basic Video Production” but never got to pursue his passion for filmmaking after the band got signed by a major label back in December 1994; it was all music from then… until now, after 25 years.

“Antok” is a reggae/rock song dedicated to the struggles of the men and women in the BPO industry. Written by vocalist Wendy Villanueva, it sings about the day to day struggles of trying to stay awake at work in spite of having only a few hours (or none) of sleep. The song gives tribute to the struggles they endure just to provide a better life for their families.

The Music Video premieres on February 2, 2019, Saturday at Cabin 420, A-Venue, Makati Ave. The launch will start at 9pm with guest performances from bands: The Go Signals, Luna, Erectus, Harrynawa, Heartbreak Syndicate, ReUnited, and Talata. Free to enjoy for all friends and supporters. This will definitely be a show not to be missed.
