A sealed black sarcophagus or stone coffin was recently found in Alexandria, Egypt that is believed to be 2,000 years old. Speculations surrounded the mysterious sarcophagus as to who or what is inside it. And despite warnings of an ancient curse that could potentially end the world, many people really wanted to open the granite coffin and unleash whatever curse it might offer.

But as archaeologists opened the sarcophagus, they found three skeletons filled with red sewage inside it and no curse has been unleashed…YET! “The sarcophagus has been opened, but we have not been hit by a curse,” said Supreme Council of Antiquities, Mostafa Waziri—dismissing claims and theories about a possible curse.
Naturally, those who were hopeful that the ancient curse could be what the world needs, were utterly disappointed.

Before the sarcophagus was opened, some had hoped that the remains of Alexander The Great might be inside it. But according to the Egyptian Ministry of Antiquities, the three skeletons found inside are probably those of warriors. One of them appears to have been hit by an arrow in the head, experts said.
People are already pledging their loyalty to the “creatures inside the sarcophagus” because let’s face it, at this point we all need a stronger force to turn to, with or without a curse that could end us all.
