LOOK: Pinay baker creates impressive ‘cash cake’ for customer’s birthday

Seasoned bakers know that crafting a carefully-designed cake requires artistry and precision. Their attention to detail and design must always be on-point to meet the client’s expectations.

In some cases, the baker fails to meet expectations and delivers a less-than-perfect pastry. But when done right, their cake creations can turn out breathtakingly beautiful.

Last July 8, Irene Ramos Villeroz proved herself to be a masterclass baker when she created a birthday cake that contained a carefully hidden stash–a literal pile of cash!

In this video uploaded by Villeroz, her client can be seen excitedly pulling on the “Happy Birthday” cake topper to reveal multiple paper bills.

According to Villeroz, the cake in the video took one whole day to prepare and that she did some extensive research and trial-and-error procedures to find out how money can come out it.

(At first, I was worried since I had no idea how I’d be able to execute a cake like this. I didn’t know how I would put money inside, much less, have the paper bills continuously come out of the cake. So, I took it upon myself to really study how I could make this cake — I even tried it first with pieces of paper.)

When Villeroz perfected the “money trick”, she baked her cake and presented it to the client. Though she was initially satisfied with the presentation of her customized creation, she admits she was nervous to see it presented to the celebrant.

(I was anxious to give the cake to my client. I was worried that something might be wrong with it)

But in the end, she was more than happy to see the joy her cake brought to her client’s family.

(After watching the video, I was very happy to see that my cake was success and that the execution was flawless. Plus, the client’s grandmother seemed satisfied with the work I’d done and I’m happy that the cake also tasted good.)

We agree with the client’s family in saying that this cake creation was a job truly well done and we can’t wait to see more unique creations from the home baker in Bataan!
