Irish rock band The Script gave their Filipino fans a special treat with a surprise public performance.
In a video posted on the band’s Instagram page, frontman Danny O’Donoghue can be seen busking outside the concert venue as Filipino fans sang along with him.

He serenaded the crowd with their hit song, “The Man Who Can’t Be Moved.”
“Manila, Busking in the streets with you singing every word back was unreal,” the band wrote.
They also thanked everyone who attended and wrote, “Big love to everyone who showed up, what a night!”
Upon seeing the video, many were pleased with the spontaneous busking initiated by the band, taking it to comments to express their appreciation for the said gesture.
One user wrote, “You must have made their day, Danny you’re amazing.”
Another user wrote, “Listen to how loudly that crowd is singing along!”
A third user wrote, “This is brilliant to see love it. You’re the best doing this for those lucky people.”
Several social media users jumped in the comments, thanking the band for an unforgettable night.
The video was uploaded on the band’s social media pages following their successful two-night concert at the Araneta Coliseum in Quezon City.
The Manila stop was part of The Script’s *Satellites World Tour*. After their shows in the country, the tour continues with stops in Indonesia and Thailand.
The Script has held several concerts in the Philippines over the years, including their *Greatest Hits Tour* in September 2022.
The band’s current lineup includes Ben Weaver, bassist Benjamin Sargent, drummer Glen Power, and vocalist Danny O’Donoghue.
Some of The Script’s most well-known hits include “Superheroes,” “Hall of Fame,” and “Breakeven.”
