Internet personality and Liam Payne’s girlfriend, Kate Cassidy, broke her silence in an exclusive interview, sharing their final moments together.
In an interview with The Sun, Kate shared her thoughts on their vacation in Buenos Aires, where Liam tragically passed away after falling from a balcony.
Kate shared that she and Liam had personal commitments to attend to, which led to her leaving him in Argentina. She admitted that his passing still feels unreal. “I just never thought this would have happened,” she said.
She recounted what happened while she was still with Liam, explaining that their trip was initially meant to be short. After two weeks, she returned home to care for their rescue dog, Nala, leaving Liam in Argentina. Shortly after, she received a call from one of his friends informing her of his passing.
Kate struggled to believe it at first, feeling completely numb as she tried to process what had happened. She shared that she couldn’t sleep the night she found out, afraid that her worst nightmare had become reality.
