Without a question, fans are what keep celebrities alive. Our favorite artists and celebrities never fail to express their gratitude to their fans for helping them get to where they are in both acceptance speeches and interviews.
Fans can, however, occasionally overreact. Some people always manage to transform their support into an obsession and occasionally that fixation shows itself in unfavorable ways.
Here’s a list of celebrities who have had uncomfortable encounters with their fans.
Lea Salonga
After her Broadway show “Here Lies Love”, a group of fans went to singer Lea Salonga’s dressing room in hopes that they could take photos with her. Salonga politely asked them to leave her dressing room citing security protocols.

BINI
Fans were once again urged to respect the group’s privacy by BINI’s Gwen Apuli, who disclosed that some fans have gone so far as to knock on their room doors in order to request for a photo. Colet Vegara and Aiah Arceta, Gwen’s other bandmates, also shared Gwen’s remark on their individual X (formerly Twitter) sites to show their dismay.

Previous incidents have sadly occurred with other members as well. Aiah Arceta experienced a disturbing encounter with a man who appeared to have been trying to kiss her at a lounge bar in Cebu City. Fellow band member Maloi had a share of an uncomfortable experience as fans mobbed her while she was with her family dining at a restaurant in Lemery Batangas.
There was also an instance where fans were hitting the window of the van that the girl band was riding as they left the venue.

SB19
Online rumors have been circulating about certain fans who are supposedly “camping” outside SB19’s office and other locations where the members often reside. Fans were allegedly seen going through the boy group’s trash in another video that went viral online.
AC Bonifacio
A conversation had leaked online last year between a fan and AC Bonifacio talking about BGYO Nate cheating on her. It’s on the nose that this fan would ask her about her personal life as access to those should remain private most especially personal messages.
Taylor Zakhar Perez
While chatting with E! Taylor Zakhar Perez said on the red carpet at the SAG Awards that a fan followed him to China and back to the US. The same fan that followed him was also seen outside the venue for the GLAAD Awards last May in New York which prevented him from being able to sign autographs.

Nick Jonas
A fan approached Nick Jonas inappropriately at the Jonas Brothers’ Hollywood Bowl performance in Los Angeles. Jonas swatted the fan’s hand away and security intervened, but the fan persisted in groping the singer.
Taylor Swift
At one of Taylor Swift’s 1989 World Tour gigs in Edmonton, Canada, a few of her fans became a little too giddy. The pop star is seen standing on stage performing “Bad Blood” when a man in a white T-shirt is seen lunging at her and attempting to take her black ankle boot covered in leather.
Bebe Rexha
In a video captured by a concertgoer that circulated on social media, a fan threw a phone from the crowd towards her upon approaching the front of the stage. A number of crew members then race onstage to assist her as she falls to her knees.
