Everyone’s favorite transfer student Cady Heron is back navigating through the dangerous hallways of high school, ruled by a group of teens both feared and revered, The Plastics, in Mean Girls. Based on the stage musical, which in turn is based on the original comedy film of the same name, Mean Girls, is a twist on the 2004 enduring classic.
Angourie Rice stars as Cady Heron, with Reneé Rapp as Regina George, Bebe Wood as Gretchen, and Avantika as Karen. Helmed by Samantha Jayne and Arturo Perez in their feature film directorial debut, with screenplay from the original 2004 Mean Girls writer Tina Fey, who also reprises her role from the original film. Opens in cinemas on February 7.

About Mean Girls
From the comedic mind of Tina Fey comes a new twist on the modern classic, MEAN GIRLS. New student Cady Heron (Angourie Rice) is welcomed into the top of the social food chain by the elite group of popular girls called “The Plastics,” ruled by the conniving queen bee Regina George (Reneé Rapp) and her minions Gretchen (Bebe Wood) and Karen (Avantika). However, when Cady makes the major misstep of falling for Regina’s ex-boyfriend Aaron Samuels (Christopher Briney), she finds herself prey in Regina’s crosshairs.
