For 2025, She Talks Asia is choosing bravery over perfection

Now in its ninth year, She Talks Asia continues to elevate the conversation  on women’s empowerment, bringing together thought leaders and advocates for a day of  inspiration, learning, and action. The 2025 She Talks Asia Summit will take place on March  15, 2025, with the powerful theme: “Brave Over Perfect.” The ticket proceeds are donated to a  scholarship fund for girls, supporting education and empowerment for the next generation. To  date, She Talks Asia has raised P2.9 million for the Mano Amiga Philippines  (www.manoamigaph.org), a nonprofit school providing high quality education and sustainable  livelihood to underprivileged communities.

From childhood, girls are taught to be cautious, while boys are encouraged to take risks. This  gap has negatively impacted the way women view themselves and how they approach  opportunities outside their comfort zone. This is further reinforced by a society that often  subjects women to unrealistic expectations—whether in terms of looks, how they perform at  work, or how they juggle their household responsibilities. This year’s theme urges women to  redefine success on their own terms. The 2025 She Talks Asia Summit co-presented by

Creamsilk and BDO, celebrates the courage to keep showing up even when the path is  uncertain, and the resilience to keep forging ahead in the face of setbacks.

The summit will feature an extraordinary lineup of speakers who embody this year’s theme,  including model, host, and advocate Pia Wurtzbach, who is this year’s Summit Co-Chair and  Keynote Speaker. The lineup also includes Olympic gold medalist Hidilyn Diaz, celebrated  author and women’s health advocate Anca Griffiths, and marine conservationist Anna Oposa.  These women have faced challenges, defied expectations, and paved the way for others, proving that courage—not perfection—is the key to real impact.

She Talks Asia

“She Talks Asia has always been passionate about amplifying the voices of women and creating  spaces where we can have honest, necessary conversations about the realities we face,” says  Lynn Pinugu, CEO and co-founder of She Talks Asia. “Now, more than ever, as the importance  of diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives come under increasing attack, we must stand firm in  our mission. Women’s voices matter. Representation matters. And the world needs more stories  of women courageously overcoming barriers.”

The 2025 She Talks Asia Summit is made possible through the support of our partners in  advocacy: Co-presenters Cream Silk and BDO, Powered by Globe, and Major Sponsor  ProAge Beauty. Together, we are committed to empowering women to embrace their full  potential, redefine success, and choose bravery over perfection.
