Ariana Grande unveils teaser of her new music, leaves fans gushing

There are only a few days left before 2024, yet Ariana Grande is all set to ring in the new year with exciting news in the form of a musical comeback.

Yes, you read that right: after two years since “Positions” was released in 2020, the pop sensation is back and ready to shower her fans with new music!

On December 27, Grande posted a slew of photos and videos on her Instagram account that confirmed the release of her upcoming seventh studio album with a caption that reads, “[S]ee you next year ♡.”

Among the photos shared by the “Dangerous Woman” hitmaker was a selfie where she flashed a thumbs up while crying, a screenshot of a FaceTime call with a friend where she appeared to be dancing, and a gift package that included a R.E.M. lip product, a photo of her red lips, and a handwritten note that says, “See you next year.”

It also appears that Grande already celebrated her comeback and sent the same package to her fans as seen in her Instagram stories.

Grande also featured a photo of Swedish producer Ilya Salmanzadeh, which seemingly confirmed the upcoming collaboration between the two.

Ilya has previously collaborated with Grande and co-produced and composed some of her hits with Max Martin, who was also confirmed to be involved in Grande’s latest project, including “Bang Bang,” “Bad Decisions,” “No Tears Left to Cry,” and “God is a Woman,” among others.

The Grammy Award-winning singer also included a video of her mother dancing and her expressing her happiness and gratitude with the album almost being done.

“I’m so tired,” Grande said in the video while wrapped in a blanket. “But so happy and grateful. I also feel like I weigh 3,000 tons.”

Grande had first teased about her seventh studio album after posting a carousel of photos of her working in a studio. She then told her fans that there will be “no snippets [of the album] this time.”
