Pinoy Big Brother winner Sofia “Fyang” Smith draws flak for being hailed as “teen queen” online.
In a tweet posted by a user on X (formerly Twitter), their tweet reads, “Fyang Smith, the teen queen, isn’t just dancing under the spotlight—she’s owning it.”
While the page’s aim is to share how proud they are of her, many social media users were not pleased for giving her that title.
People took to social media to express their thoughts about the page’s post.
One user wrote, “Daming achievements ni Kathryn before she was even called Teen Queen by THE Guillermo [Kathryn had a lot of achievements before she was even called Teen Queen by THE Guillermo]. She EARNED that title after successful tv shows and movies. They removed that title after Kath. You can’t just give it to anyone who didn’t even achieve half of her success in the industry.”
“Super major mega downgrade! From The Kathryn Bernardo to her??? Seriously? Wala pa ngang napatunayan yan [She has not proven anything yet]. Sorry, pero wala siyang [but she doesn’t have] star quality for me. She lacks in everything,” a second user wrote.
A third user stated, “Seryoso ba to? Parang insulto naman nito kay kath na inearn yung title na yun tapos mapapasa lang sa isang starlet ng walang kahirap hirap [Is this serious? It’s like an insult to Kath that she earned that title and then it will just get passed to a starlet without any effort]?”

Although many were displeased about the said title being given to Fyang, some have come in her defense pointing out that she never claimed that title in the first place.
