Renter-rentee drama? Of course, Philippine Twitter is going to eat it up

Been chronically online this last weekend? Then you must have seen that picture of a dirty-a** room circulating all over Twitter (X), and have seen the name ‘Cian Tacasa’ plastered on your Facebook news feeds and everywhere else.

To be honest, PH Gay Twitter was on a roll last weekend, and because of the literal amount of tea spilled at the time, we can only talk about that scandalous dorm look. To make things more concise and streamlined, former roommates of the now-disgraced activist aired out their troubles with him, especially placing focus on how he kept his living space…well…unlivable.

They both pointed out their reasons for putting this out in the open, which is mainly to let their peers and for others to be aware of what kind of a housemate Cian Tacasa could be—foul, lazy, and a hypocrite (their words, not ours). Apart from those two threads, another also decided to come out with their “horror stories” with the guy, which caused a heap of reactions from all sides of PH Twitter and Facebook.

Others also said that they’d been “inspired” to clean their own rooms and shared spaces after reading the dorm room sitch. Honestly? Yeah. And the rest, well, of course, Filipinos do it best when they meme the heck out of the situation.

However, while most of the people on the Internet were on the hate train, there were others who were a little hesitant to comment on the situation for the following reasons: 1, it’s a matter that should’ve stayed private; and 2, the guy may have some underlying mental health issues for him to have kept his space that way.

While both sides of the coin each have their own points made, it still doesn’t excuse the fact that this can actually be possible when it comes to sharing a living space with somebody. Not only that, but the way PH Twitter also ate this all up and came out with their own stories and reactions is just…wow.

Still, though, we all hope the guy could be held accountable for the kind of issues he left, as well as the former and current roommates to solve things. This kind of story isn’t at the Netflix documentary level, but it could be if the guy didn’t fix up his act and get the help he needs.

There is no way in hell anyone could live through that filth (Honestly, I could never, I would rather d-word), that’s just atrocious.
